About the Band

Whiskey Revolver is a multi-faceted, seven piece contemporary band based in the Texas DFW metroplex.

 

Starting in 2016, a group of close friends and colleagues discovered they share a love of music—and the talent to make it together with an authentic feel.

 

They balance their strong commitments to family and faith with playing occasional private and public shows.  Above all they enjoy getting together in fellowship, and jamming on some of the most iconic songs written and produced over the last 60 years. Whiskey Revolver has the versatility to cover a diverse group of artists and genres; but their current catalog is anchored in the classic rock of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.

 

We cover and interpret songs by super groups like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eagles, Chicago, The Moody Blues, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Rush and The Doobie Brothers as well as the work of other great artists like Bob Seger, Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix, Wilson Pickett, Gerry Rafferty and George Thorogood. The band’s founders trace roots in classic country music, and so we also cover artists from Steve Earle and Johnny Cash to Brooks and Dunn.

 

Our playlists can feature shredding electric guitars riffs, and more acoustic guitar compositions, complimented by a solid rhythm section and a rich array of keyboards, horns, strings and mandolin — overall a powerful but varied sound that audiences love. And, we can tailor things to your venue and style preferences.
